Business Recovery Analysis
J.Samuel Richards & Associates® is registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB). As part of the Insolvency and Business Restructuring process, J.Samuel Richards & Associates® helps the Receiver Manager with the following objectives:
- Ascertain the reasons for the operational demise and whether such causes found can be feasibly remedied;
- Establish whether the business is worth saving or not based on its historical market participation, its inherent historical financial capacity and performance;
- If deemed savable, to advise the Receiver Manager on what financial, operational and management interventions would be required to successfully revitalize the business;
- If deemed a lost cause, to advise the Receiver Manager on:
- Any “running business” disposal/sale options available including generating indicative sales prices; and
- A “break-up” liquidation scenario including an adjusted Net Book Value (NBV) valuation; and
- Based on the results of this work, advise the Receiver Manager on the most appropriate optimized exit for the lender(s).
