Our Consequential Loss Assessment methodology follows the Cause, Effect, and Rights (“CER”) framework that is a proven and reliable framework for preparing financial claims arising from consequential loss, designed by the American Insurance Association (“AIA”).

The CER framework seeks to establish the cause of the consequential loss and identify the party responsible for that cause, thus precipitating liability. It then proceeds to confirm that the consequential loss is indeed a direct result of the cause and generates a financial estimation of the level of the consequential loss. Last, but by no means least, the CER framework is closed by the topping of legal support, including the mapping out of relevant precedence premises for the claim.
